Obstacle Course Racing???
Whether you are a seasoned veteran of races like Spartan, X Warrior, Mud Hero, Rugged Maniac...or a first timer...this is your race! Hard enough for the competitive racers, but easy enough that anyone, and everyone should try. Complete the whole course, and become a "Bigger Brute"!

Yup. The skill level we have seen over the past two years is quite vast. Fresh off the couch, or a seasoned veteran...everyone can do this race!
35 and counting! Jump over, crawl under, hang, swing, balance, climb, carry...ya, there is a few things to do. We also have a few obstacles completely based on chance, which have been a huge success!
Because we are the ultimate experience and the greatest evolution in OCR...
Seriously though, do them all!
We feel we are a great "first time" race, and yet challenging enough for the elite OCR community to still enjoy.
We do have our perks...free parking, free key drop (your vehicle is literally at the start line, so bags can stay in your cars), Vendors Alley, live DJ, and best of all....LEAST EXPENSIVE OCR IN ALBERTA!

We are not changing the pay structure for the third year in a row! $30 for kids 5-12 years old, $40 for 13-17 years old, and $50 for 18+.
Competitive heat is open to all registrants 14 years old and older at $50. Longer distance, and penalties for missed/failed Obstacles. This will again be the first heat of the day.
NEW THIS YEAR...TEAM HEAT!!! Teams of 5, in one specific heat of the day, will battle against each other for a TEAM TITLE. Teams must complete ALL Obstacles (you can help each other) and must cross the finish line together. First Team to cross the finish line will get a special gift...AND FREE ENTRY into the 2026 TEAM HEAT (to defend their title). Team pricing will be $200 per team. Must be a team of 5 to register (again...info coming soon).
VERY IMPORTANT....you are paying to complete the whole course, whether you "choose" to do so or not!
We get it. Some people will find 8-10kms a little much for their first ever race. So we are giving you an option. There will be 2 checkpoints (water stations) on the race. When you reach the first one (approx 3.5-4km in), you can opt out of the race, and head for the finish line. Or, you can go "Big". The obstacles now get harder, and more of them. At the second checkpoint, you can go "Bigger" (insert "Full Race" here...). Going "Bigger" just means you get more obstacles and longer distance! That's literally why you are signing up right...more obstacles!!! Be The Brute,..do it all, it's why you are going to this event! Remember, no matter what distance your body lets you do, you will get a Finisher's Medal and your Swag once you cross the finish line!
We strongly encourage our volunteers to help you at the obstacles when they can, if you need. We have offered to assist anyone with physical or mental limitations by sending a volunteer with them on the course as well as an option. As far as we know...we are the only Obstacle Course race to offer this as an added bonus.
